SOUND Programs for Concert, Jazz and Marching Bands

The President's Cup is an invitation only, adjudicated festival for high school wind ensembles.  The most accomplished high school music programs will be invited to spend a day with the Soldier-Musicians of The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own.”

December 7, 1941, was a day that would live in infamy and thrust the United States of America into the second World War. Now over 70 years later, Americans and people from all over the world gather to pay tribute to those who were here on that fateful day. The the ceremony and parade are organized to provide the public an opportunity to express their appreciation for the service and sacrifice of our veterans and their families.

Field Show USA will take Marching Bands from the traditional football field performance and place them right in the center of our nation's capital: On the grounds of the Washington Monument!

The event will begin with a combined Marching Band performance of "America the Beautiful" and our "National Anthem."  This event will be held in conjunction with the 70th Anniversary of the End of WWII at the WWII Memorial in Washington, DC.

For the past two decades, The American Musical Salute programs have been held in conjunction with special events around the globe.  These events have been recognized world-wide by event organizers, government officials and music educators as the "most comprehensive and valued performance tour programs for America's youth music groups."  Each official event will help "mark the time" by commemorating the past and celebrating the future with music.

Memorial Day is best celebrated in the places that history is made. The island of Ohau became a part of American and world history on December 7, 1941. On this day the United States was thrust into World Ward II and the fight against Japan and Germany. The islands were also an key port and base for those who faught in Vietnam. The Hawaii Memorial Day Parade salutes our veterans whose service and sacrifice have preserved a greatful nation. The official Parade saluting our veterans and service men and women and their families is the Hawaii Memorial Day Parade. Bands and Choirs are invited to join us for the parade and opening and closing ceremonies featuring a mass band and choir.
